Countdown begins

Tonight, Travis told me "I wish I had a necklace with you and dad on it, so I wouldn't miss you so much when you went to work."

Wow.

We went to a beach party last night, pretty cool... they dumped a ton of sand (actually 1,500 tons if you believe the news report) in an otherwise empty parking lot right downtown. Last night was family night, games, balloons, face painting and whatnot for the kids.

School starts in five days. I am not prepared.
