To share or not to share. Figure it out already.

I'm somewhat addicted to Ice Breakers Wintergreen Mints (with flavor crystals).

If you're not familiar with them, the container has a tab on each side -- one labeled "to share", the other labeled "not to share". The "not to share" tab opens up to reveal a tiny mint-shaped hole that only releases one mint at a time. The "share" tab opens up fully half of the top so you can shake out as many darn mints as you want.

Anyway, three out of the last four times I've purchased them, the sticker on the top is placed on backwards (or upside-down maybe), so the side labeled for sharing is actually the tiny little hole and the non-sharing label is the gi-normous opening.

Quality control over at the Ice Breakers plant appears to be a little lacking. I'm just sayin.

  1. Not sure if you ever discovered why this is the case, but I figured I would let you know! The "To Share" tab is small so many people aren't sticking their hands in your food. The "Not to Share" tab is large, because you're the only one sticking fingers in your food! The more you know!
